Cover and spread concept I created as a Summer intern for The Salvation Army. This particular concept was for the Salvation Army's PEER Magazine, a Christian-based publication for high school and college students.

INSPIRATION

I took inspiration from PEER Magazine's colorful and playful flair.

AFTERTHOUGHTS

I think the spreads, especially the cover spread, has a good use of white space, color, and contrast. The PEER Magazine team opted to go in another direction, and if I had the opportunity to redo this project, I would have aimed a more mature look that would attract the magazine's main audience of college and high school students.
